2359
March 23 - Future Captain Kristian D. Johnson is born. This is the
first event to differ from the “actual” Paramount Trek (And possibly
the greatest mistake ever to be made by the Federation =)

2361
June 16 - Kristian Johnson’s parents are killed while serving aboard
the USS Celtic. Nothing is really known about the Celtic, other than
the fact that it was the ship on which Kristian’s parents both served
(and died). Cause of death is unknown.

2363
May 31 - Construction begun on the Polaris class starship USS
Dauphin
. The Dauphin, originally classified as a “Light Cruiser” class
vessel, is Johnson’s first (and what should have been his last)
command.

2365
January 22 - Construction begun on the Genesis class starship USS
Dauphin-A
. Don’t ask me why they built the successor to the Dauphin
only two years later; perhaps they already knew what an inept
captain Kristian would be.

2367
September 3 - Kristian Johnson enters Starfleet Academy at age 8.
Don’t ask.

2370
March 28 - Construction begun on the Gecko class starship USS
Kasatka
.

May 25 - Cadet Kristian Johnson heads Iruka class fighter
development project while still in Starfleet Academy. How a cadet
became the head designer of an official Starfleet project, I have no
idea.

2371
June 5 - Kristian Johnson graduates Starfleet Academy; entire
Federation cowers in fear for their lives. (Just kidding.)

July 20 - USS Dauphin commissioned; Johnson assigned as Acting
Captain. (They must have really been desperate).

August 12 - Dhbcquikinana class prototype introduced.

September 6 - Kekaimalu class transports introduced.

November 22 - USS Dauphin destroyed in the Great War of 2371.
This event is (badly) portrayed in my first story, The Dauphin.

November 24 - Johnson assigned to USS Oso-A, commanded by his
good friend, Ross J. Meyer. The Oso is a Trigalaxy class starship, of
which little information is known.

2372
January 6 - Genesis class USS Dauphin-A commissioned, Johnson
assigned to command.

July 16 - Prototype Paradox class USS Dauphin-B destroyed in FTW
(Faster Than Warp) testing. This event pretty much sealed the fate of
there being any more ships to carry the name Dauphin.

September 21 - Apollo class scout introduced.

2373
March 10 - Qapla’ class PCU Khai Tam, a highly innovative
Klingon/Federation hybrid starship, is stolen by the Romulan empire.
It is believed that the Romulans intend to attack the Klingon
homeworld with the Starfleet vessel, thereby framing the Federation
for the attack. The vessel must be recovered at all costs. Guess who
gets the mission? ;)

March 17 - USS Dauphin-A destroyed while attempting to retrieve
the Khai Tam. This event is documented in the story New Beginnings,
which I never did get around to completing.

March 23 - Johnson assigned to the USS Pot, Captain Meyer’s new
command.

August 5 - Keel laid for the second Federation Qapla’ class vessel,
currently dubbed Relentless, though this later changes to Stenos.

2374
May 13 - Highly secretive launch of the prototype USS Conquest
attack cruiser from Herschel 36. The vessel’s first mission takes it
into the Gamma quadrant, after which it will not be seen again for 31
years.

July 4 - Experimental Heavy Battlecruiser (EHB) Stenos
commissioned; Captain Johnson takes command in a much-publicized
ceremony. (I really had some major delusions of grandeur back then
=P)

July 20 - Amicus StellarFire, Inc., operating out of the Beta Delphini
constellation, introduces their Amicus line of fighters to the
Federation. They become the first independent starship contractor to
build vessels for the Federation, not to mention the first dolphin-
owned and -operated facility of its kind.

July 30 - Hawaii class scouts introduced, personally designed by
Captain Ross Meyer.

August 24 - Federation top-secret ground combat project succeeds in
breeding the first Velociraptor to live for 65 million years. Research
continues rapidly.

October 11 - Experimental Iruka class fighter USS Velociraptor
begins testing phase under the command of Captain Michael Lorsung.
It is the first ship to successfully fly FTW with an enhanced
Transwarp drive.

October 18 - Historic Battle of Ts’chak takes place at the Klingon
homeworld. Days before, the Klingons had abducted the Stenos’ first
officer, Commander Hwiii. These events are portrayed in Time to Die,
my longest Trek story yet.

2375
March 1 - The other two ships in Starfleet’s starfighter development
project, the Tactical and Rapier, begin their testing phases.
Velociraptor, involved in the Battle of Ts’chak, attains full operational
capacity.

April 14 - EHB Stenos destroyed in the midst of a large conflict at
Starbase 783. The Klingons have retaliated for their loss in the Battle
of Ts’chak, and the Jem’hadar attack as well. Unexpectedly, the
Romulans ally themselves with the Federation side of the conflict,
and together the two powers drive off their attackers. The Revenge
was going to describe this conflict, but ended up never getting
completed.

May 4 - Gecko class USS Kasatka commissioned, Johnson assigned
command. Why I gave “myself” such a piece of crap for a command,
I have no idea, but I did have an awesome crew for this time around,
consisting of dolphins, raptors (the first ship to carry them, as such),
and a few humans to spice it up. ;)

May 16 - USS Velociraptor, remaining the only Iruka class fighter in
existence, receives an upgrade to Iruka III class. The upgrade
includes enhanced weaponry, armor, sensors, engines, and a new
paint job.

May 25 - Raptor class escort fighter begins experimental testing. The
trefoil design becomes one of the most successful light fighters ever.

July 4 - Tsunami class strike fighter begins experimental testing. It
is the first vessel to possess the highly experimental
Hytritium/Plasma power core.

September 28 - Discovery class cruiser introduced.

2376

February 19, 2376
Rumors begin on Deep Space Nine of planned Dominion attack. DS9 is placed on yellow alert status; all Federation ships are to remain ready in case of action.

February 25, 2376
Jem’Hadar battleship ‘K’Klaq Moor’ comes through wormhole and destroys Deep Space Nine. Jem’Hadar alerts all Beta/Alpha quadrant inhabitants of planned invasion by the Dominion; all races have two options: join willingly, or risk destruction. One week is given to decide.

February 27, 2376
Klingons attack the K’Klaq Moor with a large offensive fleet. The battlestation is barely scratched as the entire Klingon force is eliminated. The Dominion notifies all races that the invasion has begun, and thousands of Jem’Hadar and Karemma ships arrive through the Bajoran wormhole.

March 2, 2376
Cardassia - already unofficially affiliated with the Dominion - sends hundreds of cruisers to assist the Dominion effort.

March 5, 2376
First battle of the Dominion war takes place near the Beltan system. Klingon forces successfully hold off Dominion vessels until the K’Klaq Moor arrives.

March 6, 2376
Defiant class Federation Starship Sirius confronts Dominion forces near the Melina system. Sirius is destroyed almost immediately.

March 8, 2376
Dominion forces reach the outer perimeter of Federation space. Starbases 548 and 549 hold off the attackers until the K’Klaq Moor engages and destroys both bases.

March 9, 2376
Starfleet sends the Avatar, Narcissus, Wellington, Zanzibar, and Yuma to intercept the incoming Dominion fleet. Thirty Amicus fighter squadrons join battle in progress. Federation forces make progress until forced to retreat by K’Klaq Moor battleship.

March 14, 2376
Final Federation stand at Wolf 359. Starships Avatar, Avenger, Marauder, Nemesis, Intruder, Wellington, Annapolis, Vicksburg, Narcissus, Brockton, Alvarado, Kasatka, Tactical, Hornet, Terminator, Katana, Prelude, Atraiou, Scorpion, Molokai, Lone Wolf, Falcon, and Velociraptor are sent to defend, along with a substantial Cetacean tactical force. Dominion suffers heavy losses as Klingons send additional forces. K’Klaq Moor is held off for the first time until Dominion breaks through outer perimeter of the Federation defense strategy. Approximately half of the opposing Starfleet forces escape the battle, retreat to Del Amitri nebula. The rest of the Federation and Klingon opposition are eliminated and the Federation falls to the Dominion.

March 15, 2376
Cetacean colonies Alast, Delar, Hadlan, and Triatus are evacuated by the Tursiops amicus neo-dolphins. Neo-fins rush all available fighters and supplies to Federation base in Del Amitri Nebula via the Tursi Intrepid Battlestation, eluding Dominion forces en route.

March 20, 2376
Dominion forces storm into Klingon territory, decimating the Klingon defense force on their way to Qo’noS. The Klingon government is seized within three days.

March 23, 2376
Captain Kristian Johnson’s 17th birthday. The small Federation remainder forces send an Amicus scout group to survey the situation. What is found is that the entire Federation is under Dominion control.

March 24, 2376
Romulan task force arrives at Federation stronghold in the Del Amitri nebula with good news; they posses tactical knowledge of the K’Klaq Moor, and may know of a way to destroy it. Overcome with joy, the group officially becomes the Independent Federated Empire. All ships are changed to an ‘FEC’ prefix - Federated Empire Cruiser.

March 31, 2376
Dominion scout group happens upon an IFE sensor beacon on the outer perimeter of the Del Amitri nebula. Immediately notified of the security breach, the IFE’s forces make a quick exit out the other side of the nebula, and are not discovered. They proceed to the uninhabited Deinonychus system where they set up a base on a Class-M planet.

April 4, 2376
News reaches the IFE colony via cetacean operatives that the Romulan Star Empire has been captured by the Dominion. There are also rumors of a group of renegade Federation ships hiding out somewhere in sector 23520, which includes the Deinonychus system. The IFE smartly decided to find another location to begin building up forces for the final assault.

April 20, 2376
The IFE group discovers Epsilon VI in the Epsilon Indi star system, where an unusually high concentration of electromagnetic radiation would shield any ships in orbit or on the surface from enemy sensor scans, which makes it perfect for an outpost.

April 24, 2376
Amicus scouts surveying the Epsilon Indi system make a thrilling discovery; on Epsilon II, a large ship wreck is found. The vessel is amazingly intact and composed entirely of neutronium, the same alloy which makes the K’Klaq Moor invincible. Unfortunately, the planet is located so close to the sun that any attempt to retrieve it by the scouts would reduce them to dust. They return to Epsilon VI with the good news.

April 26, 2376
The FEC Molokai, the only vessel in the IFE fleet equipped to retrieve the derelict ship, is dispatched to Epsilon II for the salvage operation. En route, Dominion-controlled Romulan forces intercept the Molokai and open fire. Molokai survives initial attack until backup arrives. The Molokai, Tsunami, Tactical, and friendly Romulan Warbirds destroy the enemy forces. Too damaged to continue the operation, it is decided to return to Epsilon VI and make rapid repairs before the Dominion returns. Tactical and Tsunami remain in orbit of Epsilon II as a precaution.

April 28, 2376
The Molokai attempts another salvage mission. This time, the escort ships come under attack by Romulan & Jem’Hadar forces as the derelict is secured to the Molokai on the surface. Starships Hornet and Falcon remain behind to allow the rest of the fleet to escape, and are destroyed.

April 30, 2376
IFE forces reach the planet Pacifica, already ‘cleansed’ by the Dominion forces. This location was chosen for its beautiful oceans which would give the dolphin crew members a chance to relax from the recent events, as well as the rest of the crew. All planetary-capable vessels are secured on the surface; starships Kasatka, Terminator, Prelude, Atraiou, and Lone Wolf orbit cloaked. A polaron field networked by the cloaked orbiting ships masks the activities below, making the planet appear uninhabited. Work begins on revealing the derelict’s secrets, which the cetacean crew believe will be the weapon of their victory against the Dominion.

May 4, 2376
Dolphin technicians are the first to activate the vessel. Upon reviewing its computer logs, it is discovered that the vessel is an ancient scout ship sent by a humanoid race residing on the far side of the Gamma Quadrant. The ship was so well built that, after its crew succumbed to a bacterial infection, the ship continued on its course for several decades until it crashed on Epsilon II. The scout has much advanced technology, including a self-replenishing power generator which uses materials never heard of before, a pure neutronium hull, a lightspeed drive remarkably similar to current prototype Soliton Wave systems, a type of phase shielding never before encountered, but which works identical to an interphase generator, and two forward weapons of unknown function which feed directly off the power generator. It is decided that, after extensive testing confirms that all systems are performing correctly, the vessel will be tested against Dominion forces to find its tactical value. The derelict departs, along with the cloaked FEC Atraiou as backup. The scout’s engines must be reduced to 75% power so the Atraiou can keep up at its maximum speed.

May 5, 2376
The scout and Atraiou encounter three Romulan ships, of which the scout destroys all without assistance. The ships return with the good news. That evening in a waterfront celebration with all in attendance, the derelict scout is officially christened as the FEC Sibilant. Lt. Commander Nick Oberly, navigation officer aboard the Kasatka, is given the command of the Sibilant. The celebration continues through the night.

May 6, 2376
Early in the day, the orbiting vessels intercept a Dominion transmission. The expert encryption specialists, the Velociraptors, decipher the message and discover that it is a distress signal. A Dominion battle group stationed in Pacifica’s neighboring system have been attacked by three Borg vessels, now heading toward sector 001 at high speed. Realizing that this may be the distraction which the IFE needs to win the war, all crew and supplies are readied and all vessels depart for sector 001.

May 7, 2376
Another Dominion transmission is intercepted. Apparently, the forgotten Ferengi had escaped the invasion, and have now returned, attempting to take back Ferenginar. The Dominion is unsure whether to assign the K’Klaq Moor to defend against the Borg or Ferengi attack. The IFE decided to give them a third option.

May 9, 2376
The K’Klaq Moor, a limited Dominion force, and the IFE fleet arrive in sector 001. The Sibilant, under the command of Nick Oberly, severely damages the K’Klaq Moor, allowing the other vessels to move in and destroy it. Unfortunately, four ships are lost: the Terminator, Atraiou, Scorpion, and Lone Wolf. The Sibilant and Molokai remain at Earth to repel the Borg vessels, while the Kasatka, Tactical, Katana, Prelude, and Velociraptor leave to assist the Ferengi effort.

May 10, 2376
The three Borg cubes arrive at sector 001. The Sibilant and Molokai open fire. The Molokai sustains massive damage in the attack; however, both ships prevail, and short-term repairs are made to the Molokai. Both ships leave to join the rest of the group. Meanwhile, the IFE fleet has met up with the Ferengi, who are faring badly against the Dominion force. With the added starships, as well as the Tursi Intrepid Battlestation and Amicus class fighters, the battle is turned in favor of the IFE/Ferengi group.

May 11, 2376
With the arrival of the Sibilant and Molokai, nearly half the Dominion forces have been eliminated, with the loss of only a few Amicus squadrons and one additional starship, the Prelude. The remaining Dominion ships retreat in the direction of the Bajoran Wormhole, with Ferengi, IFE, and Romulan ships in hot pursuit.

May 13, 2376
Reaching the Bajoran wormhole with only a third of their forces left, the Dominion quickly exits via the wormhole. The remaining friendly forces return to their respective homeworlds to sort out the current situation. But one thing is clear: the Dominion has been defeated!

May 16, 2376
The Ferengi, Klingon, Romulan, and now-Federation governments arrange a postwar meeting at the planet Pacifica. A treaty is signed which begins an alliance among the four powers, and also guarantees that the technology from the Sibilant will be equally shared. The decision is also made, with the extinction of the entire Bajoran race at the hands of the Dominion, that it would be in the best interest to permanently collapse the Bajoran wormhole. The agreement is then made that the wormhole will be shut down indefinitely on May 20 by the use of a huge antimatter bomb the Federation had in storage in case of such an event. The Federation also changes all its ships back to ‘USS’.

May 18, 2376
The Sibilant, secured at Starbase 651, as well as the antimatter bomb, are stolen by Romulan forces, who then make their way to the wormhole. Alerted almost immediately, Starfleet sends the only ship able to intercept the thieves before they reach the wormhole, the USS Kasatka. Unfortunately, the Kasatka is massively outgunned and is destroyed, though many of the crew escape in shuttles and escape pods. The Romulans then enter the wormhole and detonate the antimatter device, successfully sealing perhaps the most revolutionary find of the 24th century, along with themselves, 40,000 light-years away. Somehow, the Federation believes they have not heard the last of the Romulan robbers. Later, the Federation, Klingons, and Ferengi contact the Romulan Star Empire. In typical Romulan fashion, they claim no knowledge of the theft, and persist that the Romulans involved were not acting under the government. It is then agreed that the Romulans are exempt from the treaty.

May 20, 2376
A lone Romulan Warbird opens fire on a Klingon base near the Klingon/Romulan neutral zone. The Klingons, currently possessing the most powerful star fleet of the four races, respond by destroying the Warbird, and then traveling directly into the heart of the Romulan Empire to Romulus and Remus, their two homeworlds. They then begin the bloodiest and most violent massacre of any empire’s history. Neither the Federation nor the Ferengi decide to intervene.

May 26, 2376
The Romulan government finally attempts to reason with the Klingons, but their pleas are ignored. The Klingons continue their rampage, slowly but surely eliminating the Romulan Empire.

May 30, 2376
The Romulans attempt an escape by sending thirty Warbirds into space - apparently just to get away from the horrible acts of violence the Klingons are committing. Of the thirty Warbirds, twenty-three are destroyed. The remaining seven are not heard from again, but their course takes them into the Gamma Quadrant - to the other end of where the Bajoran wormhole used to be.

May 31, 2376
The Klingon Empire stops the attack, and officially claims the Romulan Star Empire as a member of their own. And thus a new era of peace begins... but for how long, nobody can say...

December 25 - LISA class Long-term Independent Survey Apparatus
introduced. It is designed to survey “cleansed” planets for damage
analysis and information gathering. These units serve well, being
small and effective under most any conditions.

2377
January 26 - Dragonfly class interceptor introduced, the first vessel
to test neutronium hull armor, which later becomes the de facto
standard for larger cruisers.

October 16 - Raven class introduced, a mildly successful scout
conversion of the type-9A cargo shuttle.

October 31 - Gecko class USS Kasatka-A commissioned, Johnson
assigned to command. (Don’t ask me why they keep giving this guy ships.)

December 25 - Kasatka-A falls through a temporal vortex, being sent
six years into the future (2383). As a result of this, all of the crew’s
aging is slowed to a snail’s pace.

2378
March 14 - Starfleet decides to begin construction of the K’tke Light
Orbital Construction Facility (KLOCF) in orbit of the unexplored planet
of Kithrup in the Delta Arae star system. Not long after, they
encounter the cetan civilization, who live under the surface of the
ocean world. The cetans are humanoid dolphins whose DNA indicates
they evolved from (but on a different evolutionary path than) terran
dolphin species. However, they decline to comment on how they
arrived at this world so long ago. The cetans immediately desire to
join the Federation, who find it only fair to allow them membership
along with their fully cetacean brothers and sisters (who are
nonetheless thrilled at the discovery of the cetans).

2379
February 10 - Samson class destroyer introduced. Though overall a
powerful vessel, the vessel’s reliance on projectile weapons makes
it worthless when all torpedoes are exhausted. The fact that it was
designed by the well-known bad ship designer Kori Prins doesn’t
help to put crews at ease, either.

August 2 - Deceptor class strike cruiser introduced.

October 12 - Stingray class strike cruiser introduced, named such
because it looks like a stingray (duh =). This ship was outdated the
minute it hit the drawing board.

November 17 - Gemini class medium carrier introduced, the answer
to Starfleet’s desperate need for a carrier. Though massive and
slower than a pregnant whale, the Gemini proved invaluable on more
than one occasion.

2381
January 1 - Widget class escort fighter introduced, one of Starfleet’s
most well-known projects.

May 20 - Draco class attack cruiser introduced, one of Starfleet’s
most well-known failures.

2383
May 12 - USS Kasatka-A reappears through temporal vortex, with
the crew unaware that they have traversed six years into the future.
They will all remain at their current physical development, as the
temporal disruption interrupted the aging process of all on board.

2385
July 16 - The Federation’s first assault cruiser, the Obsidian class,
makes its maiden test run. The 1,992-meter warship is the largest
yet built by Starfleet, and incorporates new technology such as
a Kreiger Wave power generator and VariTranswarp FTL propulsion.
The ship becomes one of the most successful projects the Federation
has ever attempted, proving the worth of the two new techs and
breaking all quadrant speed records in the process.

2386
May 7 - Two new shuttles are introduced: the type-17 shuttlepod,
and the type-11 high-speed express shuttle. Both enter production
immediately and replace older designs of similar capability.

2387
March 15 - The Dromaeosaurid Empire (established on Cardassia in
2376, after the Cardassians were driven from their planet)
introduces their first vessel, designed and built by the raptor
exclusive contractor, Dromaeo Sc. This vessel is the Sentry class
gunship, a heavily armed and armored single-raptor craft. Though
the raptors have no other vessels in their fleet, the Sentries are
powerful enough to serve the roles of many kinds of ships.

April 22 - Soon after reentering the public eye (after the
embarrassing failure of his Rapier class escort and his subsequent
“disappearance”), Michael Lorsung reveals his newest design, the
Balsam class escort fighter. Superior in every way to the Rapier, the
Balsam is almost too good to be true. Not surprisingly, Starfleet
Command later finds that Lorsung ripped off another contractor’s
design, and he is exiled from the Federation, never to be heard from
again. Even so, Starfleet loves the Balsam so much that they put the
ship into immediate production.

July 2 - The third design of Starfleet’s three new shuttlecraft, the
type-10 passenger/cargo shuttle, is introduced.

August 29 - Starfleet’s second major flop, the Daemon class scout, is
introduced. The Daemon is actually a predecessor to today’s armed
launches, though not nearly as refined or comfy.

2388
April 17 - Nauta Sinneau born in the Arau-Nai’a Islands of Kithrup to
Kiree Sinneau and Kiara Melai, who dies giving birth to her daughter.

April 21 - The Cetacean Stellar Alliance (CSA) unveils their first
cruiser, the Triton class. Not to be mistaken for a Amicus design, the
Triton was designed and built by the empire themselves.

July 16 - Kori Prins introduces his second craft to the Federation,
the Tremor class cargo shuttle. Currently lacking one in their fleet,
Starfleet shrugs and says, “Sure.” Despite reports of falling bulkheads
and leaking replicators, the Tremor makes its worth as a disposable
cargo shuttle.

2389
August 17 - Much to Starfleet’s utter confusion, Kori Prins pulls
another ship out of his sleeve, this time the M.O.R.K. (Modified Ovular
Resistance Keel). The craft’s bizarre egg-shaped design supposedly
makes it invisible to sensors. Upon testing, nine out of ten helmsmen
could easily identify the giant white egg on their sensor maps, and
as such the design was never approved. Kori, however, tried to build
them himself, but ended up with several cracked shells and no
such success.

2390
May 15 - Before Starfleet can say “Enough already!”, Kori hauls out
his response to the Obsidian class: his Shuriken class assault cruiser,
1,750 meters long and ugly as sin. Starfleet refuses the design,
pointing out that they already have a wonderful (and more
appealing) assault cruiser. Once again, Kori gets huffy, and builds one
himself, later to become the flagship of the sixth fleet (and the
laughingstock of the entire Federation).

July 17 - The USS Pinafore is destroyed by a spatial anomaly in an
uncharted sector of the Beta quadrant. Nauta and 12 other members
of the crew survive; Kiree is not among them. Nauta is adopted soon
after by Anakka’umai’nai’a, the Cetacean captain of the USS Airedale.

November 4 - Envoy class project begun.

2395
May 14 - Fed up with his incessant bickering, Starfleet gives in to
Kori Prins and puts his newest vessel into production, the 5,000
meter long Diamond class cargo ship. It was the biggest waste of
resources ever undertaken; when the vessel’s faulty Position
Destination Joining Device (PDJD) was activated, a giant black hole
was spawned, disintegrating the huge waste of titanium into
toothpicks. The resulting wreckage was sufficient enough to build 61
Tazmann class light cruisers, introduced the next year.

June 23- Eclipse hatches.

2396
February 4 - Desperate for a real ship after all of Kori’s excuses for
vessels, the Tazmann class light cruiser is introduced early in the
year. The roughly rectangular vessel proves extremely strong in
combat exercises, earning it the nickname of “cockroach.” The
Tazmann class is the first to utilize the miniature Kreiger Wave
converter, dubbed “MinnKrei.”

April 11 - Amicus StellarFire presents their first design in nearly 22
years, the Am-S1 SEI class Supplemental Escort/Interceptor. The
design varies greatly from classic fighters, characterized by a vertical
rather than horizontal plane. The only downside to this approach is
that the craft occupies more space within shuttlebays, preventing
the fighter from being carried by smaller cruisers. This craft is the
first to feature the Amicus-designed GLG-27y1 lightspeed disruptor,
which solves the age-old complaint of disruptor weapons being
slower than energy weapons. The new disruptor’s shots travel at
near-lightspeed velocity.

May 24 - Citing the loss of too many pilots at the controls of Widget
class escorts, Starfleet orders the conversion of all Widgets to
computer control by the end of the year.

August 17 - Starfleet’s second new civilian vessel is introduced, the
Solomon class heavy cruiser. Looking more like a crown of jewels
from the top, the 750-meter ship possesses the most powerful
shields ever to be fitted to a starship, even more so than any
Federation warships.

December 1 - Shockwaves are sent throughout the galaxy upon the
unveiling of Starfleet’s ultimate achievement thus far: the Amadaeus
class dreadnought cruiser. This 5,000 meter long warship was
unmatched in allied territory at the time of its introduction, and
remains nearly such to this date. It also pioneered the use of
enhanced neutronium armor.

2398
September 5 - Nauta Sinneau enrolls in Starfleet Academy at age 10,
and is immediately accepted.

2399
March 22 - Nauta assigned to the Solomon class USS Bishop as a
science officer. She finds the experience “boring and pointless.” Puts
in a request to be transferred at the first opportunity to any other
position aboard any other vessel (yes, she’s *that* desperate ;).

2400
February 4 - Nauta’s transfer is acknowledged, and she finds herself
aboard the Tazmann class USS Sothesby as a tactical officer. She is
reluctant at first, being a very passive and nonviolent individual,
but soon showed her natural talent for the position, and helps to earn
the Tazmann class the nickname of “cockroach.”

July 22 - A shipwide malfunction renders the Sothesby’s life support
inoperable. Being the only one aboard not unconscious due to the
lack of oxygen, Nauta is able to restore life support within 5 minutes
and save the entire crew of the Sothesby. She is awarded a medal of
commendation, but turns down the award, citing that it is only her
unique physiology which allowed her to do what she did.
Nonetheless, a formal commendation appears on her Starfleet record
for the act.

September 1 - The Klingon empire introduces their first vessel in
over 25 years: the D-25 Maxia class destroyer. Itchy with their
trigger fingers, they take their new vessels out for testing in asteroid
belts throughout the quadrant, luckily loosing no ships or personnel
in the process.

2402
January 10 - The Sinneau class medium cruiser is introduced, filling
the void between the Solomon and Tazmann classes. The Sinneau is
named for its designer, Nauta Sinneau. More tactically-inclined than
the other civilian cruisers, the Sinneau is fitted with high-yield
neutronium torpedoes and plasma emitters rather than the standard
phaser banks.

March 14 - Amicus Inc. (dropping “StellarFire” from their title)
introduces a new “package” of ships: The Am-3 Cetan class
interceptor, the Am-5 Beluga class gunship, and the Am-7 Aloysius
class armed launch, all of which utilize Amicus’s new Ramjet-Forced
Intake Transwarp propulsion system (R-FIT). This system eliminates
the volatile reactants previously required for FTL travel, promising
to be a revolution in propulsion.

March 20 - Less than a week after Amicus introduced their new line
of vessels, Arcturas Intergalaxial Contractor reveals two of their
designs: The A1 ARSE class Armed Recon/Scout/Escort, and the A2
Lemming class interceptor. The Lemming uses the Amicus R-FIT
propulsion drive; much to Amicus’ dislike, the Federation deems it
legal, as Amicus hadn’t the chance to patent their design before
Arcturas incorporated it on their vessels. This event marks ensuing
discontent between Amicus and Arcturas.

April 17 - Envoy class strike cruiser introduced. The cruiser’s
unusual dorsal/ventral nacelle configuration, as well as the density
of weapons and other systems packed into such a small space, caused
massive difficulties in the vessel’s initial construction. However,
Commander Matthew Joseph took over the project when it was
nearly scrapped. A few years later, he successfully fixed all the
Envoy’s problems, creating one of the most successful designs ever
made.

May 8 - Starfleet introduces the Poseidon class destroyer, a modular
design fitted with regenerative neutronium hull armor, which repairs
itself from damage. The Poseidon is the most advanced starship in
the quadrant for some time thereafter.

May 18 - The USS Aloysius, the first Federation Aloysius class
prototype, disappears near the extinct Bajoran wormhole.
Commanding the vessel for its maiden voyage is Captain Nauta
Sinneau, who is not seen again for almost two years.

July 3 - Amicus one-ups Arcturas by introducing the Orkney class
armed launch, in response to the incredible success of their Aloysius
class model. Arcturas isn’t faring as well, as their limited knowledge
of Amicus’ R-FIT causes problems in their Lemming class interceptor,
including computer errors and overheating. Their ARSE class escort
is doing badly as well, since nobody seems to want what is
essentially a flying gatling cannon with a pilot strapped to it.

August 10 - With the lack of Ground Assault Vehicles (GAVs),
Starfleet introduces the R.A.M.P.A.R.T. Robot Assisted Mechanized
Personal Assault and Retaliatory Transport. This two-legged “walker”
is unlike anything in the alliance; other races quickly follow suit with
their own GAV designs.

September 19 - Aware of the growing appeal of the armed launch
design, Dromaeo Sc presents their first forage into the armed launch
domain, the Ravager class. Smaller and more maneuverable than
either Amicus designs, the Ravager is intended as a long-range fast
attack scout, with limited “creature comforts.”

November 4 - Starfleet introduces the Newton class scout, the first
such design in quite some time for the Federation. Measuring only
ninety meters long and composed of three decks, the Newton is
capable of countless mission roles normally requiring the service of
several different classes of ships. However, its prominent dorsal
nacelle, combined with limited weaponry and armor, make the
Newton extremely vulnerable should a threat situation arise. It is
therefore capable of very high speeds in order to allow it to flee
potential danger situations.

2403
May 11 - With much surprise all around as to their speed and
innovative trend thus far, Dromaeo Sc unveils the Tempest class
assault carrier. A completely innovative design never before
constructed, the assault carrier is envied almost immediately by the
Federation, whose only aging carrier (the Gemini class) is not even
comparable to the Tempest.

2404
April 14 - The USS Aloysius spontaneously appears near Federation
space in the beta quadrant, badly damaged and barely capable of
crew support. On board are Captain Nauta Sinneau and Lieutenant
Vorak; the third crew member, Ensign Kitrin N’hala, had apparently
been killed. It is later learned that the Aloysius was accidentally
transported through the “extinct” wormhole by an unknown cause,
and thrust into the Gamma quadrant. The tiny scout ship evaded
countless enemy forces and attempts at destruction, until the crew
figured out how to return themselves home. The have no knowledge
of either the USS Conquest or the USS Isildorin, but they do bring
back valuable information on the Dominion’s current status. Appalled
at their comparatively small combat fleet, Starfleet steps up
production of warships immediately, and assigns Nauta the position
of commanding officer of the third fleet flagship USS Existentialist for
her incredible job of surviving two years alone in the Gamma
quadrant. Soon she meets the Existentialist’s communications officer,
Lieutenant Riyal Rivean, and they immediately fall in love

July 16 - With intent on producing one warship design for every
ensuing year, Dromaeo Sc hauls out its fourth vessel, the Invegra
class destroyer. It is similar to the Tempest class in that is is unlike
any design ever before encountered, as well as incorporating new,
radical technology such as a temporal inversion FTL drive, selentic
protium hull armor, and phase variance torpedoes. Starfleet quickly
becomes wary of the destroyer’s temporal drive, fearing the same
catastrophes they themselves have encountered in the past when
toying with the fabric of space and time.

2405
February 21 - Mistral class light carrier/transport introduced, a
multi-role civilian spacecraft which is made available to the entire
public. Numerous private organization pick up on the offer, making
the Mistral class one of the hottest-selling items ever for the
Federation.

March 10 - Starfleet breaks their own record with the introduction of
the Widget II, a radically redesigned rendition of the old escort
fighters. With a massive push by a powerful new advertising
campaign, orders for the Widget II surpass even the inundation
received for the Mistral, not to mention the available supply of the
fighters. 2405 appears to be a very prosperous year for the
Federation thus far.

Medallion, attempts to rescue Captain Justin Adams
- Aventura is destroyed, crew and Adams surviving aboard
Medallion
- Dominion attack scouts become aware of the Federation distress
and enter the Sol system to investigate
- Previously unknown CSA Naiomu class battleship flies in and
destroys the Dominion craft none too soon, beams aboard the
three crew members from Medallion and takes them home

June 24 - The renewed Dominion conflict forces Riyal to be assigned
as commanding officer of the CAS Ananke, a Triton class Cetacean
vessel. Even then, the Existentialist and the Ananke stay together,
fighting side by side for the first two years of the Dominion war.

August 17 - In response to the Dominion threat, Dromaeo Sc
accelerates and completes development of their semi-modular
Dawnrazor class destroyer. Their newest offering borrows some
technology from the revered Captain Shane Hosé’s personal craft, the
Illiad Custom Model Alpha. They also fit the Dawnrazor with their
version of Amicus’s well-duplicated R-FIT propulsion system, making
it the largest vessel ever to be so equipped.

2406
February 1 - Yarf class escort fighter begins production, a project co-
founded by the captain of the ninth fleet, Clint Noble. The Yarf is
Starfleet’s answer to the Dominion’s insanely fast Atazma class
designs, which had previously run circles around the fleet’s fastest
fighter. This new model promises to give the Federation the edge.

April 12 - Captain Alitrine Jenner completes her Valley Forge class
project, designed to reintroduce the concept of the battleship, a
design too long absent from the fleet in her opinion. Valley Forge
turns out to be a huge success, with three ships ordered by the
Federation initially (Valley Forge, Pearl Harbor, and Midway), and a
fourth by the Dromaeosaurids (the Ta-Ra-Ra Boomdeay).

May 9
- Dromaeo Sc presents their largest cruiser yet, the Kiranath
class attack cruiser. Much to the amazement of everyone present at
its unveiling, the Kiranath showed its ability to not only enter a
planet’s atmosphere, but to land on the surface as well, making it the
largest vessel to ever be capable of such a feat. The design promises
to be invaluable in planetary strike operations.

August 31 - Ophiuchi IS makes their first appearance as yet another
independent contractor, but is soon separated from the rest of the
pack by their first design, the Chandrasekhar class gunship. With a
form nearly as difficult to look at as its name is to pronounce, the
Chandrasekhar quickly becomes known as the oddest vessel ever
contracted by the Federation. It does prove incredibly powerful,
however, and is quickly put into production.

September 10 - Both the Existentialist and the Ananke are present
when Federation and Cetacean fleets intercept a large Dominion force
making its way toward Sector 001. In the battle, Nauta witnesses the
destruction of the USS Airedale, with the loss of all on board. The
tragedy haunts Nauta for a long time, and were it not for the love of
her mate, she likely would not make it through the pain.

November 11 -
• Admiral Edward Allgeyer, placed in command of Starbase 021 and
captain of the eighth fleet, orders old starship designs to be
reactivated and completed at Io Intergalactic ship yards, the
last remaining construction facility in the Sol system
- Spaceframes from Utopia Planitia are towed to IISY for completion,
escorted by the eighth fleet
- Starfleet sends their best contractors to IISY to work on
the spaceframes aboard Mistral class transports
- Personnel transports are intercepted by Dominion forces, and
destroyed
- Eighth fleet personnel are left to assemble the spaceframes
themselves

December 12 - With independent design quickly becoming the
standard, Antioch Corporation presents their company to the
Federation with a complete “package” of new vessels available to
produce – the Obsession class assault cruiser, Osiris class destroyer,
Occam class carrier (which Starfleet loved at first sight), and the
Ozark class interceptor. The Federation Council welcomes Antioch
into their family and rapidly approves all four new designs for
fabrication.

2407

February 16 -
• The Hayansark race is encountered “accidentally” by fleeing
Federation destroyer (Poseidon class)
- Dominion forces hold the Hayansark planet hostage on demand that
the Federation ship surrender
- Hayansark form a defense perimeter to protect their planet and ask
both sides to leave them in peace
- Dominion ships attack, leveling the Hayansark fleet and destroying
their planet
- The Federation ship takes massive damage, but is able to rescue
nearly 1000 Hayansark and narrowly escapes to Starbase 021
- Hayansark are “adopted” by the Saurians.

March 4 - With the recovery of the Hayansark survivors a month
earlier, one of their vessels is recovered as well, and is the only
known ship of Hayansark design in existence. With access to this ship
and express permission, Antioch Corporation develops the small
gunship into their second “package” of vessels, which now includes
the Herald class carrier, Hellion class escort fighter, Helios class
carrier/transport/tug, and the Hayansark class gunship. The
Hayansark are overjoyed at this new, refined rendition of their ship,
and one is made for every Hayansark in existence (which is over a
thousand by now, thanks to their promiscuity).

March 22 - Early in the year, Dromaeo Sc rolls out their first
development, the Fireblade class gunship. Their first gunship since
the Sentry class of 2387, the Fireblade is a fast, powerful, well
designed and intimidating craft, ensured as a valuable piece in the
Saurian fleet. A large part of the Fireblade’s power comes from its
dual outboard PKB cannons, nearly twice as large as those on the
Sojourn class strike cruiser.

April 12 -
• Dominion attacks cetan homeworld of Kithrup
- Third fleet, along with CSA fleets, defend and are outgunned by
Dominion forces
- Riyal Rivean aboard the badly damaged CAS Ananke makes a
suicide run at the Dominion flagship just as it is about to
destroy the homeworld
- The ensuing explosion destroys the Dominion fleet and some of the
allied forces, but saves Kithrup.

April 14 -
• Nauta Sinneau, devastated by the loss of her mate, attempts
revenge upon the Dominion
- USS Existentialist, Nauta’s Amadaeus class third fleet flagship,
disembarks without clearance for the Gamma quadrant
- Captain Sinneau strikes deep into the heart of the Dominion
homeworld, making an all-out suicidal strike with everything
the Existentialist is capable of
- Already damaged and further weakened by mass Dominion fleets,
Nauta is badly injured and her ship about to explode
- A stellar rift opens, through which fly four battle-ready Federation
starships
- Upon discovering the Federation ship in distress, Captain Kirami
Rivean Trypnotk of the USS Dragon transports over to it, to find
Nauta lying semiconscious on her destroyed bridge
- Kirami saves Nauta from the ensuing destruction of her ship, and
all four “transported” Federation vessels make way for allied
territory

April 19 - With Nauta Sinneau a part of the Dragon’s crew as tactical
officer, the crew of all four parallel Starfleet vessels confer with the
Federation to try and understand current events. It is understood
that a Dominion subspace weapon in the parallel universe designed
to “transport” enemy vessels outside of their universe has opened up
a dimensional rift in the form of a stable wormhole between the two
universes, allowing friends and foes alike to traverse the two realms.
Also discovered is Captain Szarzynski and what remains of the
seventh fleet, thrust into the parallel universe through a similar,
though much smaller dimensional “tear.” A treaty is quickly reached
between the allied races of both universes, and it is agreed that in
order to end the war for both sides, the subspace weapon must be
destroyed. In addition, a large trans-dimensional transport
informally dubbed the “Draconic” begins construction at Orcan
Industries Ship Yards, utilizing never before fathomed
inter-dimensional technology from the other universe.

May 25
- Amicus introduces their Antam class armed launch, the
first second-generation armed launch and characteristically larger
than their first two. More impressed by the Antam’s appearance than
its performance (which is impressive as well, no doubt), the ship is
put into immediate production. Arcturas is furious.

June 15 - Noting the Federation’s disappointment in the Antioch
Obsession, intended to replace the aging Obsidian class (though they
loved all the other Antioch vessels), Ophiuchi presents what is only
their second design, the Illuminati class assault cruiser. Setting the
standard for Ophiuchi’s asymmetrical vessels, the Illuminati is
extremely maneuverable and refined for a vessel of its size. Starfleet
loves it, and puts it into production alongside the Obsession for
comparison purposes.

June 24 - In retaliation to the Amicus Antam, Arcturas hauls out the
A/3 Foxfire for Federation review. The Foxfire is found to be a
surprisingly sound vessel in terms of construction, considering that
Arcturas pretty much invented the phrase, “It’s not a bug, it’s a
feature!” Satisfied, the Foxfire enters production with the Antam,
already present in the growing Federation fleet.

July 10 - With their interest piqued by these two new armed launch
designs, Dromaeo Sc develops the Inferno class. Their vessel blows
both the Antam and Foxfire out of the water as far as space and
power go, though most prefer the appearance of the other two over
the Inferno’s somewhat intimidating form. Even so, the Inferno finds
its way into both raptor and Federation fleets.

August 7 - Nobody thought it was possible to design a piloted vessel
smaller than the Widget I, which measured a mere two meters in
overall length. And even if somebody did, how could it possibly turn
out any better than the disastrous Widget? Starfleet answered both
these questions when they unveiled an even tinier vessel, the
Froggie class escort fighter. Only 125 centimeters long - a full 3/4 of
a meter less than the Widget - the Froggie is an excellent utilization
of the Federation’s capability in producing small, efficient spacecraft.
It features the latest weapons and defense technology, as well as
twin high-output sublight engines, giving the Froggie unparalleled
maneuverability.

July 24 - The USS Dragon is destroyed while defending the planet
Kurinzona in the Kalinstar system of the parallel universe. All crew
are saved, however, thanks to the superbly designed lifeboat and
evacuation system of the Dragon. Though she was an important ship,
and a tragic loss for both sides, the blow is lessened by the fact that
slowly but surely the combined forces of both universes have tipped
the balance in favor of the allied resistance.

August 7 - Kirami Rivean Trypnotk’s second command, the Akira II
class USS Kiramix, is commissioned in a formal ceremony at planet
Kurinzona. The Kiramix is a prototype vessel of this new class, a
variation on the old Akiras of the 24th century, though larger and
with unparalleled firepower. Nauta Sinneau helped to design the
Kiramix, with added assistance from much of the crew and head
designers from both universes.

September 30 - With no time to develop the other three vessels of its
“package,” Antioch shoves their Sidereal class escort fighter onto the
Federation’s desk. The craft is found to be extremely ungainly to fly,
with two joysticks and foot pedals capable of every imaginable range
of motion. Regardless of the intense hand-eye coordination the
Sidereal requires to pilot, it proves more maneuverable than any
other Starfleet vessel, and nearly impossible to hit.

November 7 - As their last development of the year, Dromaeo Sc
introduces their Kirami class battle cruiser, named for the dragon
who saved Nauta Sinneau’s life. It is similar in overall design to the
Kiranath class, which is expected since both vessels are raptor
designed.

December 31 - Just in time for the end of the year, Antioch readies
the Sable class gunship for production. This compact vessel carries
practically every kind of weapon one would imagine could fit on such
a platform: 8 disruptors, 6 PKB cannons, 12 type X^3 phaser banks,
and rotating neutronium V torpedo launchers. The craft is powered
by dual MMK units, giving the gunship a maximum speed of TWf 30.

2408
January 4 - Not even a week into the new year, Dromaeo Sc pushes
out yet another warship, the Valhalla class gunship. It’s the largest
gunship ever made, with dimensions more akin to an armed launch
than a support craft. The large amount of interior space gives the
Valhalla enormous power, with room for lots of generators and
weaponry, making it a formidable adversary.

March 10 - The Federation’s first internally-funded armed launch
project, the Hyperion, makes its first public appearance. The craft is
the smallest armed launch yet produced, measuring only 13 meters
in length. Interior space is cramped, but the Hyperion supports two
crew adequately. All in all, the Hyperion is an average armed launch,
save its appealing fighter-like styling.

April 23 - Produced alongside the Draconic, Starfleet completes the
Epic class light cruiser. It uses a never-before seen FTL technology
known to the parallel universe as “Tachyon Sails”, and completely
unknown to our people. This technology is completely unobtrusive,
un-volatile, and requires little maintenance. In other terms, it is the
“nature-friendly” FTL technology both sides have been waiting for
years to achieve.

June 17 - Nauta Sinneau becomes pregnant with a little cetan by
Kirami Rivean Trypnotk during a rather active evening in the “Spa
room” of the Kiramix. Though they don’t find out about it for over a
month, they are both overjoyed by the news, and the baby is
expected about 10 months from conception. Nauta is able to
continue her duties throughout most of her pregnancy.

June 19 - When the Saurians showed off their immense Kou class
battleship, the first thing much of the allied (and enemy) personnel
thought was, “Holy crap!” The Saurians have perfected the art of
intimidating design, and the Kou is an excellent example of their
talent. While not as large as the Cetacean Naiomu class battleship, or
the Amadaeus, the Kou holds its own with a fearsome, missile-like
design, sunken habitation deck, huge angular tail fins, and a general
form specifically designed to scare the crap out of the enemy.

July 3 - 27 years after one of the greatest failures in Starfleet
history (the Draco class project), the successor to the Draco is
introduced amid much fanfare. This vessel is called (surprise!) the
Draco II, and although slightly smaller than the original, it is 100
times better in every way imaginable, and doesn’t look as much like
a giant smiley face this time. =P

September 17 - Nauta Sinneau, Kirami Trypnotk, and Krasnayath
Frostfang transport secretly on board the Dominion subspace weapon
and attempt to sabotage it while a large allied task force prepares to
attack the Dominion fleet. The mission is successful (or so it appears);
the trio is pulled out, the attack commences, and the allies are
victorious as the subspace weapon locks onto Dominion vessels
rather than the allies, and makes them go *poof*. Success is short
lived, however, when it becomes apparent that the subspace weapon
has overloaded its systems, and is about to implode, taking the fabric
of both universes with it. Every allied vessel makes for their only
hope for survival - the Starship Draconic. Even the largest vessel
ever constructed could never hope to hold the several trillion
inhabitants of both universes, nor is there time to get even its
maximum of 40,000 individuals on board. As the minutes tick down
from twenty, starships nearly collide in the rush to get into the
Draconic’s cavernous 36 square kilometer docking bay, and others
are transported through subspace from the hundreds of ships
swarming around the massive craft. Seconds before the impending
explosion, the Draconic disappears. The weapon explodes, sending a
lot of debris in several directions, but nothing more. With both
universes returned to peace once again and new alliances forged, one
question remains unanswered: What happened to the Draconic?

2409
April 1 - In a flash of light, the Draconic appears in a parallel
dimension where sector 001, the Sol system, is apparently
uninhabited. Cheers go up as the crew begins making preparations to
land on the surface. However, Nauta Sinneau is in labor, and it is
decided to make her calf the first born on their new home. Nauta is
quickly ferried to the surface moments before her baby emits its
first squeals of life, named Uminoko by her mother. Within hours,
the Interstellar Alliance is contacted by over a dozen local races,
welcoming and warning them of the impending danger they are
about to discover. The Sol system is under the control of a discreet
and powerful enemy, one no other race dared to contest. However,
inadvertently by setting foot on Terran soil, the IA has done just
that, and within 24 hours they feel the first attack of the deadly
Akula, starting a war which will last well into the next decade.

April 24- Nauta and Khirsah, mated to each other and Kirami as well,
relax together alone after a hard day’s work and not long after, find
they have another baby on the way. Overjoyed with the news and
a renewed sense of spirit, Khirsah and Nauta revel in their spiritual
bond with one another and consider the future of their mateship.

August 15- Four months after their arrival, the Alliance finds that
one of their own, Kirami Trypnotk, has defected to the Akula. His
reasons unknown to anyone but himself and the enemy, the news
strikes the Alliance hard, but most of all to Nauta and Khirsah, who
come to find their apparent mateship with the Kurinzonian dragon
was a falsehood. Nonetheless, they are grateful to have each other,
and discover that it is truly just the the two of them who belong
together. Khirsah and Nauta announce their mateship closed from
this day forth.

2410
February 6- Much to the joy of both parents, Nauta gives birth to her
second child and her first son, Kavin Sinneau. Khirsah is lucky to
have been present for his son’s birth, as merely weeks later he is
assigned to outpost duty for several ensuing months, putting
emotional strain on both mates and their children.

September 8- As the months wear on, Khirsah decides to let his
dolphin be open with those close to both of them, to give her some
time to relax and release her tension. However, despite her care to
prevent such an incident, Nauta later finds she has become pregnant
again, this time with a dragon she has come to feel as her brother,
Krasnayath. Upon Khirsah’s return within a month of the news, he is
understanding and supportive, and not bitter in the least. He’s just
a wonderful dragon.

2411
June 23- With Khirsah, Krasnayath, Uminoko, and Kavin present,
Nauta births her second daughter, Maiya. She is a beautiful blue
cetan with little wings like her older siblings. All are overjoyed as
Khirsah becomes Maiya’s father as a part of the Sinneau family.

2412
October 31- A cetan vessel carrying Nauta, her longtime friend
Prismwind, and several other cetans is captured by the Tak. In an
attempt to understand the cetan society, they orchestrate an
elaborate scheme to brainwash the cetans and place them in an
artificial, but wholly realistic setting to study them covertly.

November 18- Though she is consciously unaware of her mateship
with Khirsah, Nauta is initially resistant to Prismwind’s advances due
to her deep soul bond with her dragon. However, with the male
cetan’s attentions intensifying she soon succumbs to her heat and
mates with him. She will soon discover she is pregnant; though she is
unsettled by the news, she is uncertain why she feels this way, and
passes it off to look forward to her ‘first’ child (as far as she knows,
she was a virgin before this.)

2413
March 10- Nauta and the rest of the cetans are rescued by Alliance
vessels and returned to Terra. With her memories restored and her
pregnancy obvious, Nauta breaks down in regret for her actions even
though she had no control over them. Her mate consoles her as he
always does, and vows to stand with his soulmate no matter what,
knowing in his heart she would never deceive him of her own accord.

September 2- Nauta births her third daughter and fourth child,
Aquata Sinneau.

2415
August 22- Nearly instantaneously to onlookers, the Shark-class
armed launch Calypso is thrown back in time due to a malfunction of
the QPH drive. Upon their apparent return moments later, it is later
found that the ship has spent fully fifteen years in the 21st century,
and brought back with them a pregnant member of the species who
inhabited the planet centuries ago, leading to the repopulating of the
Solian species in current times.

2416
March 23- The first ship of the new Reliance class light cruisers, the
IAS Confidence, is launched for shakedown testing prior to its
commissioning.

August 13- Khirsah and Nauta decide to have another baby. Of
course with her dragon, Nauta can rely on the fact that once she
mates, she is certainly pregnant. She’s right.

2417
February 2- Kane S’lau becomes pregnant from her mate, but her
physiology allows her to hold off development of the gryphlets for
several months. She keeps this to herself, especially after finding out
three other members of the crew are expecting.

February 3- The night before the commissioning ceremonies,
Lieutenants Snowhawk Alyandra and Ryannktsu Yreakayr spend
their last nights with their mates. As a result of their actions, both
become pregnant.

February 4- Starship IAS Confidence is commissioned.

April 7- Ryannktsu Yreakayr clutches.

April 12- A Tak escape pod is recovered by the Confidence on the
border of Shiba-Inu space. The lone survivor tells of how they
discovered their race’s history, locked up for centuries, about how
the DNS Triad usurped the Akula into doing their dark bidding for
them, and that uncovering their complete historical records would
unravel the leash by which DNS has the Akula, and bring them to
their knees.

April 15- The Confidence plans an infiltration mission using the
escape pod to fool a Tak vessel into picking them up. Once the Tak
vessel is captured, four crewmembers take it into Tak space and
